Although Paul Van Dyk’s musical masterpieces can increase your heart rate to a weight loss speed his live show adds another dimension to the equation. Backed by two live drummers (one on each side of the stage), three movie screens, and multi-colored lasers, PVD’s staggering Central Park show was the perfect medicine for that end-of-summer blues.

Known for their live sets, The Chemical Brothers are pioneers of the big beat electronic dance genre which achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. They are credited as being one of the few truly arena-sized electronic acts. Their live acts comprise large screens displaying psychedelic images, strobe lights and lasers that project over the crowd.
